AELIP has submitted a copy of this guide in Spanish, a tool that it hopes to be of help to endocrinologists, paediatricians, and other specialists and primary care physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of this group of rare diseases known as lipodystrophies.
The guide is the result of the work of the Lipodystrophies Unit of the Endocrinology and Nutrition Services of Santiago de Compostela, which has been working in this field for over fifteen years.
