The International Association of Relatives and People Affected by Lipodystrophy (AELIP) held its general assembly on June 25, during which it approved the budget for the current year, which is around 105 euros and provides a balance of income and expenditure.
The Multidisciplinary Center "Celia Carrión Pérez de Tudela", located in Totana, hosted the assembly, during which, among other issues, was approved the state closing accounts and audit of the year 2018 and gave green light to the economic and activity reports of 2018.
Likewise, the 2019 Work Plan was approved, which defines the main lines of work of the association, distributed in nine major areas: social, research, international network, awareness, delegations, formation, alliances, political action and defense of rights, communication, fundraising and administration. It includes the consolidation of the services provided by AELIP to improve the quality of life of people and families living with lipodystrophy, and the next celebration in October of the VII International Symposium of Lipodystrophy and ECLIP in Burgos
