The International Association of Relatives and People Affected by Lipodystrophy AELIP, was present on October 16th and 17th at the 60th SEEN Congress held in the city of Bilbao.
AELIP had a training stand at the congress from which it was able to raise awareness and give visibility to rare lipodystrophies among the more than 1000 people registered for the congress.
The objective of AELIP in this congress was not other one than to make arrive the Practical Guide of diagnosis and treatment of the infrequent lipodistrophies and the recently presented nutritional guide for the lipodistrophies among all the endocrinologists, resident doctors and of primary attention that met in an incomparable frame in the city of Bilbao.
In addition, the SEEN offered AELIP the possibility of incorporating these guides in digital format as well as the corporate dossier of the entity within a pendrive that the SEEN gave to all those attending the meeting.
AELIP was represented in this congress by the social worker of AELIP, José Jerez and the president of AELIP, Naca Pérez de Tudela.
