The Association of Relatives and People Affected by Lipodystrophies (AELIP) will hold the eighth edition of the 'INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON LIPODYSTROPHIES' on 29 and 30 October, which will also be supported by, among others, the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER), the European Alliance of Rare Disease Patient Associations (EURORDIS) and the Ibero-American Alliance for Rare Diseases (ALIBER),
This year the Symposium will present a great novelty since for the first time it will be held ONLINE due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 . The Symposium will include scientific presentations by research health professionals where advances and updates in research into lipodystrophies will be presented, as well as social and health resources for families and people affected. This edition will also highlight the experience with lipodystrophies in Latin America.
The meeting will have available through simultaneous interpretation all the papers in Spanish and English and will be completely free.
