The International Association of Relatives and People Affected by Lipodystrophies AELIP, has received this month of December from the Lealtad Foundation the seal that distinguishes it as an accredited NGO.
This seal is a unique distinction in Spain that identifies that AELIP, fully complies with the 9 Principles of Transparency and Good Practices, reinforcing the confidence of donors of the entity and contributing to the effectiveness of their donation.
The accreditation of the Fundación Lealtad is based on an analysis requested voluntarily by the organisations themselves and includes more than 40 indicators.
Fundación Lealtad accredits associations and foundations for social action, development cooperation, humanitarian aid, scientific research associated with health and/or the environment. They are organisations of different sizes that develop projects for children, women, people with disabilities, immigrants and refugees, the elderly, etc. They work in different areas such as health, education, labour integration and volunteering, among others.
AELIP, which has been declared an NGO of public utility since 2016 and which also complies with transparency principles such as auditing its accounts on an annual basis and making them visible in its transparency web section, among others, already has this seal of transparency.
This accreditation can be consulted on the foundation's own website at the following link: https://www.fundacionlealtad.org/ong/asociacion-de-familiares-y-afectados-por-lipodistrofias-aelip/
With this accreditation, AELIP meets the two objectives foreseen for 2020, accrediting the entity in Fundación Lealtad and obtaining an ISO 9001 certification that accredits it as an NGO with a good Quality Management System and efficient management.
