Training Area International Symposium of Lipodystrophies
The International Symposium of Lipodystrophies is a space focused on Lipodystrophies, in which affected people, family members, medical professionals and researchers meet and where AELIP acts as a link between both parties. The Symposium aims to analyze the latest developments, share experiences, promote financing methods, improve the quality of life of affected people and their families, and find new professionals working in this field.
After the Symposium, the affected people and their families feel more hopeful with the advances that the researches are developing. To this hope is added the improvement provided by leptin treatment in cases diagnosed with lipodystrophy.
To create spaces for exchanging and coexistence between family members and parents with children who suffer from lipodystrophies. To promote the quality of life of people who live with a lipodystrophy. To promote research actions in the field of lipodystrophies
