Information and Guidance Services in Lipodystrophies (ISLIP)
The main purpose of this service is to provide with the necessary information to people who need to know a diagnosis about their disease and who suffer symptoms associated with lipodystrophy diseases. The Technical Team that gives support to this Service is formed by a multidisciplinary team that attends through Technical Advice on adequate social and health resources and demanded in each case.
This service is totally free and those who contact the ISLIP are informed about the confidentiality of their data. Their work also reaches health professionals and the political and health-related areas, promoting the creation of specific regulations, generating documentation and statistics and strengthening the LIPODISTROPHY DISEASE REGISTRY.
