Dr. Nelson Purizaca has given a talk on lipodystrophy in the Endocrinology service of the 2 de Mayo hospital in Lima, one of the reference hospitals in Peru.
Dr. Purizaca, who is a member of the Advisory Committee of the International Association of Relatives and People Affected by Lipodystrophy (AELIP), presented the clinical case of a 20-year-old girl suffering from this pathology. Also available for the exhibition, which took place on May 15, with the support of endocrinologist Gonzalo Miranda Manrique and pediatric endocrinologist Miguel Angel De Los Santos La Torre.
