Dr. Alessandra Gambineri has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and Surgery (DIMEC) at the University of Bologna, Italy since 2017. She has been an associate professor in the same department since 2010. In 2002 she obtained the title of Specialist in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Bologna, and the Doctorate in Experimental Clinical and Medical Sciences in 2009, at the University of Verona, Italy.
She is responsible for the section "Steroid Disorders Research Group" at her University supervising a team of 5 people, with deep experience in the design and management of clinical trials. The main topics of interest are steroids, the interaction between steroids and metabolism, and the pharmacological treatment of hyperandrogenic disease.
He has published several international articles in this field and has participated in several research projects.
The Doctor. Gambineri is also responsible for the U.O. Polyclinical Endocrinology Sant'OrsolaMalpighi di Bologna and the insertion of patients suffering from rare diseases in the register of rare diseases created by the Emilia-Romagna Region for these pathologies.
