The conferences have been held in an incomparable setting and have allowed the analysis of the current situation of rare, orphan or rare diseases in the different Latin American countries.
The President of the Ibero-American Alliance for Rare Diseases (ALIBER) Juan Carrión Tudela wanted to highlight the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices that have taken place at the Ibero-American meeting, as part of the XII International Congress on Rare Diseases organised by the D'Genes Rare Disease Association.
The closing ceremony was attended by the President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Fernando Lopez Miras, who had words of thanks for all attendees and professionals for their participation and their commendable work on behalf of individuals and families living with a rare disease in Latin America.
