The International Association of Lipodystrophy Families and Patients (AELIP) is already working to hold the ninth edition of the 'INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON LIPODYSTROPHIES', which will also count on the collaboration of, among others, the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases (FEDER), the European Alliance of Rare Diseases Patients' Associations (EURORDIS) and the Ibero-American Alliance for Rare Diseases (ALIBER),
This year the Symposium will be held ONLINE due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19. The Symposium will feature scientific presentations by health research professionals on advances and updates in Lipodystrophy research, as well as social and health resources for families and people affected by the disease. AELIP, estimates that the celebration of this ONLINE event that will bring together professionals, families and people affected by Lipodystrophies will take place at the end of October.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that this meeting will have simultaneous interpretation available for all the presentations in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
