The XI INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF LIPODISTROPHY brought together more than 550 medical students from the University of Santiago de Compostela and had a total of 22 international presentations from countries such as USA, Canada, Israel, Turkey, Germany, France, Portugal, Argentina, Poland, and Spain among others.
This conference focused purely on scientific and research matters, where the main advances in this field were presented, as well as the services and delegations that AELIP has for the care of their families and affected people.
Santiago de Compostela became for two days the world capital of Lipodystrophies with the celebration of the Xl International Symposium of Lipodystrophies, an event in which the advances in research in Lipodystrophies are exposed and which brings together medical students, researchers of great international prestige, families and people affected by this ultra rare disease.
